Prospects and the Implementation of the Strategy for Developing the Mobile Information Service in University Library

Mobile information service is information service based on modern mobile information technology. With the rapid development of information technology and communication technology, the university libraries break through the limitation of time and space. It will become the inevitable trend to provide open, sharing, efficient and convenient mobile information service for the overwhelming majority of users. This paper simply introduces the connotation of information services at home and abroad and the present situation of the mobile library information service analyzes the challenges faced by university library in the era of mobile information and prospects for developing the mobile information service, discusses the strategy how to carry out mobile information services in the university library.
