摘要
The growing availability of higher education and the increasing number of university students raise the importance of education quality. In accordance with the basic principles of quality management, this study systematizes the main directions and tools for a statistical analysis of the quality of higher education. Control charts are used to analyze the quality of students' educational achievements. The method is used on data on the student progress at the Faculty of Economics at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine). The proposed methodology can be used by higher education institutions to define subjects, in the study of which the educational process leaves the zone of statistical quality control, as well as to further identify the main reasons that caused learning and studying processes to fall out of a stable/controlled state.
