摘要
This research is a post-post test control group design, which is aimed to find out the degree of comfortness by using new ergonomic design table and chair for senior high school student in Denpasar, Ball. In this study 160 students involved, 100 males and 60 female students are taken as samples for anthropometric data measurement and new ergonomic design table and chair are based on the samples' data. Equipment used in this research are: two sets of Super 686 anthropometer made in Japan, metal rolled and weight meter. After the new design table and chair ready to be used a further experiment is carried out by taking 40 students as sample. The first step: students tested by classic designed table and chair for two hours school time and the second step: after one week period of space time the above sample retested by using new design table and chair. Both are evaluated by scaled questionnaire and time and motion study (behaviour while sitting). T-test on the scaled questionnaire (degree of comfortness) and time and motion study showed significantly difference (p<0.00).
