AUTOMATIC GENERATION OF DANCING ANIMATION FOR PRESERVING DANCE HERITAGES BASED ON 3D MOTION CAPTURE TECHNOLOGY

摘要
Automatic generation of dancing animation is presented in this paper. Motion capture technology is used to obtain three-dimensional data and preserve Chinese national dance. First, motion data with three dimensional information of Tujia's waving dance are collected by the motion capture system. Second, the human model of Tujia's girl is developed with national costumes. And then, the motion capture data are bound on human model and drive model's movements. Dancing animations driven by motion capture data are automatically generated in final. Experimental results demonstrate that the generated animation restores the actual dance movements and provide three-dimensional preservation for Chinese national dances.
