摘要
This paper reviews the complexity of corrosion phenomena of various types of incinerators arising from combustion of wastes containing distinct corrosion agents. The discussion covers the effect of halides, sulphur compounds, carbon dioxide and molten deposits. Materials of construction for incinerators include various types of metal alloys and inorganic refractories. Construction materials for incinerator gas cleaning units are considered in accordance with installation particularities. Structural materials for liquid installations are also discussed.
