摘要
A heart-like unidirectional millimeter-wave antenna is devised to obtain wide bandwidth and unidirectional radiation patterns. The designed heart-like antenna is composed of a heart-like radiating patch with a C-like parasitic strip, CPW ground plane, a copper cavity-backed designed on the back of the substrate. The copper cavity-backed structure is to reduce the back radiation and can get a better directional characteristic. The proposed antenna has a bandwidth ranges from 30.4GHz to 43.85GHz, indicating a relative bandwidth of 36.2%. Also, the proposed antenna has a great unidirectional radiation characteristic. The results show that the proposed heart-like millimeter-wave antenna possesses a huge bandwidth and amazing unidirectional radiation patterns.
