摘要
This paper presents a modified boost-flyback converter (BEC). Voltage doubler structure (VDS) is added to the coupled inductor secondary to enhance the voltage gain. Moreover, zero ripple boost cell (ZRBC) is incorporated to make the input current ripple free which is a desired feature for weak source renewable energy applications like photovoltaic (PV). BFC is inherently immune to adverse effects of leakage inductance by recycling the stored leakage energy and feeding it to the load. Detailed analysis of continuous and discontinuous conduction modes of operation is presented. Experimental results for a 300 W laboratory prototype, with an input voltage of 48 V and the regulated output of 400 V, are shown to validate the theoretical analysis.
