A Distributed Remote Monitoring System Based on ARM for Production Lines

摘要
A distributed remote monitoring system is developed for production lines in this paper. The system architecture and the design of system hardware and software are also presented. This monitoring system is composed of field control units, central monitor and remote monitoring computer. The central monitor which adopts Samsung's S3C44BOX chip based on ARM7TDMI kernel as controller is the core of the whole system. In the central monitor, uClinux operating system and JFFS2 file system are transplanted to receive and store the real-time data of production lines collected by field control units. Furthermore, the real time monitoring of production lines through Internet could be successfully realized by transplanting embedded web server onto the central monitor.
