摘要
Cloud computing is a new computing paradigm for sharing resources which include infrastructures, application, software, etc. The various applications that can be used for cloud service are represented in workflows. These workflow applications must be appropriately allocated to resources or services in cloud. In this paper, we propose a new scheduling algorithm with practical multiple workflow applications considering cloud computing environment. Our new algorithm does not only consider the multiple workflow applications with multiple QoS parameters, but the various QoS metrics for evaluating service. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the mean makespan and the availability significantly over two other algorithms.
