摘要
Sustainable construction has led to changes in the construction industry, where globalisation has created a new paradigm of sustainable practice resulting in growing demand sustainable development and leading to green construction. Since the understanding of sustainable construction in Malaysia is still in its infancy, Quantity Surveyors (QS) are struggling to respond to the green demand. This paper investigates the challenges facing QS in managing green construction projects based on stages of project developments where the findings show that QSs face numerous challenges during the management of these projects. This paper serves as a reference for stakeholders within the industry, particularly the QS, in engaging in green construction.
