Synthesis and characterization of block copolymer of polyphosphoester and poly(ε-caprolactone)

摘要
The synthesis and characterization of block copolymers of poly(ε-caprolactone) and polyphosphoesters in toluene with trimer of aluminum isopropoxide as an initiator, was investigated. It was observed that the rate propagation of phosphate block was affected by the structure of the pendant group connected with phosphorus. It was found that the rate of propagation of phosphoester blocks is affected by the structure of pendant group connected to phosphorus. The results show that the block copolymers are potential for biomedical applications as it is possible to replace the pendant groups of polyphosphester block with other functional groups.
