Wojciech L. Magowski (2012) Two new species and a new subgenus of tarsonemid mites (Acari: Heterostigmatina: Tarsonemidae) from ferns in Poland. Zoological Studies 51(4): 512-525. Hemitarsonemus ganeo sp. nov. and Dendroptus helluo sp. nov. are described and illustrated based on material collected from ferns in Poland. For the latter species, Hemidendroptus subgen. nov. of the genus Dendroptus was erected. A tentative key to species of Hemitarsonemus is supplied.
