摘要
Moment in Peking is a famous English novel written by the well-known Chinese writer Lin Yutang. This marvelous work has conquered the barrier of language, culture and time, evoked a strong repercussion immediately after its publication, and is honored as a great literary work for spreading Chinese traditional culture. Since its birth, it has aroused great concern and interest among scholars especially the translation researchers. As cultural differences play a significant role in literary translation, this paper will probe into the translation strategy adopted in the book from a cross-cultural perspective.
