摘要
A methodology to evaluate hysteresis losses in iron sheets under dc-biased inductions is presented in this work. Based on several experimental investigations of six different iron sheets used in the fabrication of electrical machines, an improvement of the classical Steinmetz equation is proposed. This technique can be easily employed and may be helpful for electrical machine designers.
