Effect of horse-chestnut leaf-miner (Cameraria ohridella Deschka & Dimic) outbreak on tree-ring widths of white horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum L.)

摘要
Tree-ring chronologies were created for infested by the horse chestnut leaf-miner horse chestnut trees from Kleparski Park and Rakowicki Cemetery in Krakow. Radial growth depression was observed during the outbreak. Statistically significant differences in tree-ring widths during and before an outbreak were found only for chestnut trees from Kleparski Park. The different resistance to chestnut leaf-miner feeding was observed on trees originated from distinct urban growth condition of Krakow.
