摘要
Studies related to the fate of pollutants in natural surface waters are reviewed. Issues discussed include: the history and future of water quality; ecosystems modeling; mathematical backgrounds for chemical reactions and gas transfer in natural waters; stream reaeration rate constants; trends in biomedical oxygen demand (BOD) and dissolved oxygen modeling; and BOD decay rates change in response to upgrades in wastewater treatment process.
