摘要
The purpose of this work is to elucidate whether or not the electrostatic interaction between the cathode and the suspended particle dominates the codeposition behavior. Barium sulfate particle was used as dispersed particle, because its surface charge development reaction is simpler than that of the oxide particle. In order to know the charged state of the particle in the bath, the zeta-potential of the particle was determined by a streaming potential method. It was clarified that there is no relation between the codeposition behavior of the particle and the charged state of the particle, although the latter may affect the quantity of the codepositing particle. It was suggested that the presence of the depositing metal ion on the particle is important for the codeposition behavior, irrespective of the sign of the charged state of the particle.
