To the issue of the main priorities and directions of the foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan

The foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan is aimed especially at protecting its territorial integrity and sovereignty, developing mutually beneficial cooperation with neighboring states, ensuring the active participation of the country to the new world order. The strengthening of the role of Azerbaijan in the system of international relations, the development of its relations with Western countries, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Turkey, the Muslim world are carried out according to the own national interests, as well as the principles and norms of international law. As a result of its multi-vector foreign policy, the Republic of Azerbaijan has received universal recognition as a leading state in the South Caucasus, and an active participant in regional and global integration processes. Main priorities and directions of the foreign policy of the Republic of Azerbaijan had been analyzed in the article.
