摘要
This paper presents an ICT Application in agriculture (e-Agriculture), titled "Jaguza Livestock App". The introduction gives details about the App, statement of originality, the problem identified, justification and review of literature and case studies. It presents the objectives, methodology that point out methods that were employed to collect data which included interviews, focused group discussions and questionnaires. A Technology description of the App is also presented in details stating the various features/modules of the App which include early disease detection, monitoring, animal disease database, analytics & reporting, SMS & USSD services and surveillance (GIS). A case is also made for Developments regarding the App, results of the study and business benefits to various stake holders. Conclusion and recommendations are given and references for further reading.
