摘要：
This paper, utilizing the literature study method and logic analysis method, analyzed the restraints on rural sports development, with the conclusion that traditional ethnic sports enjoy unparalleled advantages for the development of rural sports. Considering the unique characteristics of peasants, proper traditional ethnic sports shall be selected. In addition, traditional etanic sports shall be protected. Meanwhile, the healthy and reasonable development of rural sports can be effectively guaranteed by the traditional ethnic sports only when such measures are adopted as the avoidance of blind athletic competitions with respect to traditional ethnic sports.
