摘要
New Public Management has achieved some success in the development of 30 years, and has influenced many countries. In this regard, China has also borrowed from the new public management theory exercise in state administration reform process in the hope of better improvement of the country. This article focuses on the influence on administration reform after the introduction of public management theory, and hope or it can push the pace of administration reform. New Public Management is considered as a "managerialism art" by western, which involves service efficiency, quality, effectiveness, cost efficiency, market-based approach, decentralization, services and the introduction of competition and so on. It stressed at all levels of social and professional management and effectiveness performance evaluation for providing responsive services to people. And it makes public services classification, introduces the competition mechanism and tries to improve the relationship among managers, the public, and politicians.
