摘要
There is an increased interest in natural materials in recent years such as wood and products on its basis, which in turn stimulates the development of new kinds of materials with improved complex of properties of wood-filled composites. But the wood filler, along with its inherent valuable properties (small average density, ease of processing, etc.) is not devoid of the negative qualities that hinder obtaining a composite material of high strength: significant volumetric moisture deformation and the development of swelling pressure; high permeability; significant elasticity in the sealing mixture. The traditional methods of wood modification (mechanical, chemical) have almost exhausted its potential. So the search and development of new technologies, based mainly on the physical effects on woody raw materials that would lead to its modification to improve the quality and competitiveness of products are relevant. The paper present the results of study of changes in chemical composition of wood filler subjected to thermal modification. It is established that thermal decomposition is subjected to extractive substances, tanney and tila containing in the wood and promoting moisture and water absorption. As a result the water-conducting function of the thermally modified wood is reduced despite a significant decrease in its density. In addition the temperature regimes allowing us to obtain the thermally modified fillers of the required quality are proposed in the work. The obtained results will allow receiving filler in the future for the production of wood filled composite materials with improved performance characteristics.
