We use density functional theory to investigate the structure of mixed He-3(N3) -He-4(N4) droplets with an embedded Xe atom that pins a quantized vortex line. While He-3 atoms are distributed along the vortex line and on the surface of the He-4 drop, the impurity is mostly coated by He-4 atoms. Results for N-4 = 500 and a number of He-3 atoms up to N-3= 100 are presented, and the binding energy of the dopant to the vortex line is determined.
