摘要：
The desalination industry is based on the principles of water chemistry, chemical engineering, and energy efficiency. Desalination plants have a high level of corrosion since they process saline waters under severe operating conditions. Corrosion resistance is the main requirement to be considered in the selection of materials; therefore, inhibitors and corrosion-resistant alloys are used in these plants.
