Research and Design of Shared Resources Competition Solution among Hardware-Software Tasks based on Unified Scheduling

摘要
The RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) is a critical component in the SOPC (System-On-Programmable-Chip), in which the hardware-software unified multi-task management and scheduling of RTOS van significantly improve the performance of SOPC. First, we build a unified scheduling policy based on hardware-software unified multi-task management model. Then, we analyze the shared resources competition problem among hardware and software tasks, explore its internal operational mechanisms, and propose a HSTRCS (Hardware-Software Tasks Resources Competition Solution) method to address this issue by using the recording semaphore mechanism. Simulation experiments show that, under the same conditions, HSTRCS can achieve a higher deadline-guarantee ratio than other traditional methods without the support of unified scheduling model.
