摘要：

alpha-Alkylthio-substituted alpha,beta-unsaturated 1,4-dicarbonyl compounds with three different functionalities are easily available through condensation of sulfonium salts and various aromatic or aliphatic glyoxal hydrates catalyzed by Na(2)SeO(3) or a combination of selenium dioxide and NaCO(3).
