Screening of a Test Quark in the Strongly Coupled Quark Gluon Plasma

摘要
The screening potential of a test quark entering in to the strongly coupled QGP is calculated using generalized hydrodynamic equations. This potential shows a minimum that resembles the Lennard-Jones (LJ) type potential. As a consequence of this new attractive potential, the formation of bound states of quarks and J/ dissociation are discussed. The binding energy of the bound states of quarks is calculated by solving Schrodinger's equation using this potential.
