摘要
Cognitive radio (CR) is efficient method for wireless application environment short of radio spectrum resource. Spectrum detection for primary idle spectrum sensing is essential for cognitive radio networks. The ability that cognitive users detect the primary spectrum is restricted due to multi-path effect and shadow fading, resulting in the lower spectrum detection probability. In this paper, a cooperative spectrum detection scheme using the cooperative mechanism of five cognitive users is proposed. The mathematical formulations of global false alarm probability and detection probability using two merging rules, OR rule and AND rule are deduced. The relationship between detection probability and signal-noise rate is obtained using two merging rules. The performance of the proposed detection scheme is demonstrated by simulation results that show the proposed cooperative detection is able to improve the primary spectrum detection efficiency.
