Phase relations in the Bi2S3-SnS2 system and properties of (Bi2S3)(1-x)(SnS2)(x) solid solutions

摘要
The phase diagram along the Bi2S3-SnS2 pseudobinary join of the Sn-Bi-S ternary system is mapped out for the first time, and the compound of composition Sn4Bi2S11 is identified. At room temperature, the solubility limit of SnS2 in Bi2S3 is similar or equal to 5 mol %. The temperature dependences of electrical conductivity and thermoelectric power are presented for the (Bi2S3)(1-x)(SnS2)(x) (x = 0.01, 0.03, 0.05) solid solutions.
