摘要
The scientific estimation of the teacher's teaching effect is very important for the whole teaching process. There are different kinds of estimating model in the practical application, whereas each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. We constructed an estimating model based on the principal component analysis (PCA) and select such absolute indexes as the mean score, the standard deviation, the qualified rate, the excellence rate, and such relative indexes as the progress rate, and the progress level to be the principal components and carry out the estimation. The evaluating results show that the PCA-based model has better performances and is applicable to many conditions. (C) 2012 Published by Elsevier B.V.
