Communism is back among philosophers

The lamentable collapse of "socialist" countries at the end of a history tainted by crimes and mass repressive practices seemed to have definitively condemned the communist view. But, with the deep crisis of global capitalism, the idea of communism arouses some new interest among philosophers. Their prospects are diverse, this paper intends to discern the main lines of the debate by taking into consideration the works of some of these authors (Badiou, Balibar, Tosel, Zizek...).
