摘要
In this paper, a new image transmission coding technique named as convolutional differential space-time block coding (CDSTBC) is proposed which improves the quality of image transmission without channel state information (CSI) at the receiver end. DSTBC emerged as a smart substitute to the conventional coherent space-time block code (STBC) because it provides both full space-time diversity and blind detection. The image transmission with DSTBC has taken as a case study and performance enhancement using convolutional code is demonstrated. PSNR and BER have used as a performance parameter for comparing results. Results are computed at different SNR level for Rayleigh channel. This simulation is done by MATLAB. It is observed from simulation that the performance of the convolved DSTBC is improved and shows better result than the DSTBC in terms of PSNR of received image.
