摘要
Schema therapy (ST) is an integrative approach for treatment of people with personality disorders and other chronic mental conditions with beneficial effects on various personality disorders. It combines behavior therapy with psychodynamic and humanistic concepts. Central to treatment are the therapy relationships with limited reparenting and the use of experiential techniques. It can also be applied in a group therapy setting. This article presents a detailed description of group ST for borderline personality disorder (BPD), which has been piloted in several studies with promising results. The clinical approach and group-specific adaptations are described and potential difficulties are discussed.
