摘要
The normalization and integration of clinical data is a main issue to promote the evidence based medicine, the medical research and hospitals' administration. Some barriers already exist due to some reasons: 1. Inadequate information systems' architectures; 2. Proprietary databases; 3. Lack of terminology and of medical ontologies alignment. This paper aims to show firstly that there are norms and regulations sufficient and suitable to develop a normalized information system. Secondly this paper suggests a framework to develop a normalized platform. The expected deliveries of normalized clinical repositories are an improvement in data accessibility, ubiquity and medical knowledge construction.
