摘要
For the large scale and complexity of petrochemical plants, the safety problem is becoming increasingly prominent. The existing petrochemical alarm system for safety operation only sets a fixed alarm limit on every monitored variables, and monitors its operation process. However, when the device runs abnormally, there will be a lot of continuous alarms because of the complex correlation of the devices. The root cause of the abnormal operation of the device is drowned in the redundant alarm signals. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the existing alarm system intelligently and provide accurate and effective information for the operators. Aiming at the problem of alarm redundancy in the alarm system, the automatic intelligent online alarm system is designed by setting adaptive delay timer and dead band. According to the statistical characteristics of the running data, an automatic redundancy elimination method is automatically selected to improve the accuracy of the alarm. In addition experimental cases show that the application of delay timer and dead band are effective methods for decreasing false alarm rate and avoiding missing true alarms.
