摘要：

This article deals with the evaluation of Cohesion policy of the EU in terms of fulfilling the Objective Convergence and reducing regional disparities. Regional disparities are represented by the indicator of GDP per capita with respect to its development during the years 1995-2009. This article consists of several conclusions about cohesion policy and suggests a future direction of mentioned cohesion policy during next programming period (2014-2020).
