摘要
With change of inflow and sediment, the river course of the lower Yellow River is scoured or silted unceasingly, in particular, radical variation in the main channel and quick change in the river pattern take place. For the sake of observing those changes, large cross sections are usually monitored both before and after flood season annually. However, it is very difficult in acquiring main channel' s relief because of a large spacing of those cross sections. This paper describes the method of generating main channel topography based on such observed data as river cross sections, river pattern maps and major flow line, with an example of Huayuankou similar to Lijin section prior to the flood season of 2004.
