The second part of the paper concerning the issues of intraspinal lumbosacral synovial cysts (ILSC) presents our own experience with surgical therapy of this pathology based on a prospective study with one year follow-up. The study involved 13 patients based on their informed consent. The primary surgical therapy always consisted in simple resection of the cyst using microsurgery; one patient underwent an intrabody arthrodesis procedure. Standardized questionnaires were used to assess the clinical results of the surgery one year post-op. Attention was also given to pre- and post-operative imaging. Our findings are shortly discussed in the article.
