摘要
In 2013 Chinese president Xi Jinping introduced a new initiative called the New Silk Road - One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative. This project will economically and culturally connect Mainland China with Europe. The Czech Republic also showed its interest in participating in this project by signing an agreement in November 2015. There are already some activities which started to establish an economic and cultural cooperation. But it is important to realize, that the economic and cultural cooperation always depend on people. The aim of this paper is to analyze the way the Czechs perceives Chinese people. The survey took place among young students at Palacky University. These students will enter the job market soon and it will be them who will create the human background for cooperation within this OBOR initiative.
