摘要
The high incidence of ectopic pregnancies is due both to the highly-sensitive methods of diagnosis, and to the sexually transmitted diseases that determine tube infertility, to the increased usage of intrauterine devices and to the use of reproductive technologies. The purpose of the work is to identify the ectopic pregnancy risk factors and to combat them by prophylactic behavior. The identification of risk factors for ectopic pregnancy in various socio-economic and cultural-educative groups of the population is of genuine interest, considering the wish for motherhood and for preservation of fertility. The prophylactic behavior, by combatting risk factors by means of educative-informational campaigns and of periodical monitoring of the patients, may determine the decrease of ectopic pregnancy incidence.
