摘要:
The variation of the surface area in the gasification with CO2 and H2O of chars prepared from a low rank coal was investigated. Chars of Titiribi coal were prepared at 1123, 1173, and 1223 K. The gasification of the chars with CO2 and H2O developed high microporosity in the residue. Microporosity increases continuously to conversions as high as 71%. The information here obtained suggests that, in the range of temperature studied, the gasification reaction takes place inside the micropore system of the char particle.
