摘要
The rapid and ever growing development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have made possible for virtual laboratories to be used as an alternative or to supplement the physical laboratories. Physical laboratories found at high school, colleges and universities occupy physical space, require a lot of maintenance and also require an expertise to work and function properly. All of the aforementioned factors have led to rethinking the way of how lectures and laboratory exercises are taught to students. That's where the virtual laboratories come in. A virtual laboratory is a fully interactive simulated environment which allows students to create and conduct experiments, collect and analyze data and answer questions to assess their overall understanding.
