摘要
The conventional street lights or corridor lights that are being used to lighten roadways and walkways at night has to be switched ON in evening and OFF in morning at appropriate times. In most of the developing countries, switching has been done manually, which generally prone to human negligence and thereby providing the trigger either before the stipulated time or after that time. This leads to unwanted usage of lights and thus cost to customer. Therefore a device to control the lighting automatically without human interference is important. This paper presented a circuit to control the switching of the illumination devices to save energy. Moreover, most of the components used in the proposed circuits have been taken from junked devices/boards, therefore the proposed circuits contributes to creating a sustainable future in smart lighting control systems.
