摘要：
Sudden death accounts for a significant proportion of all deaths in patients with heart failure. Of currently available therapy, amiodarone and the implantable defibrillator (ICD) appear to have the greatest potential to reduce sudden death in heart failure. In this paper, the currently available information on the relative role of amiodarone and implantable defibrillators (ICD) in heart failure is reviewed.
