摘要
A method is examined for passive stabilization of pulsed solid-state laser parameters. A method is proposed for controlling the gain profile in a cylindrical element by varying the excitation conditions for the whispering modes. The gain-shaping method is promising for compact high-stability sources, and it call he applied in laser rangefinding, remote sensing, and flaw detection.
