摘要：

With respect to the supplier selection with uncertain interval information, a new approach is proposed. After defining the distance between two intervals, a linear programming model is set up to determine the attribute weights by maximizing the weighted distance among the alternatives; Based on the attribute weights obtained, the maximum intervals for the overall values of every alternative can be figured out. Then, the rankings of the alternatives with superiority possibility would be obtained. Selection of the air-conditioning system is presented as an illustrative example.
