China's Electronic Information Policy

Through its reform and opening policy since early 1980s, China has achieved rapid economic growths. Since 1995, the electronic information industry in China has grown at the fastest pace and secured its position as a major industry. Since 2006, China became the largest IT devices producer in the world. In particular, the electronic information technologies were applied vigorously in the fields of finance, automobile, medical treatment and military. In China, the development of electronic information technology and industry will play a key role in the enhancement of its national power.
