摘要
This paper describes the experience of introducing remote laboratories at the Universidad del Bio-Bio (UBB). Remote laboratories are a common resource for practical activities employed by universities. This method offers a flexible time access to best utilize the available laboratory equipment. The laboratory experiences allow to identify and control physical devices remotely. Some universities possess expensive equipment which may be shared to more people by remote access system. The aim of this contribution is thereby to apply the experience of remote laboratories at UBB, mainly in Automation Engineer. Some experiments are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness using remote laboratories for a coupled tanks system from Feedback Instruments Company. Considering the remote access to coupled tanks system, "Sistema de Laboratorios a Distancia" (SLD) was used.
