摘要
Internationalization is an important strategic option open to firms seeking sustainable competitive advantage. Many researchers are interested in the relationship between internationalization and performance of the company. They hope to find the exact effects of international business on company's performance. Although many researchers have done empirical works on this topic, very little consensus has been reached till now. As more and more Chinese firms realize that to be one international company is the trend and thus began going abroad to seize more growth opportunities, the issue that to what extent Chinese should firms involve with the foreign markets, i.e., what degree of internationalization (abbr. DOI hereafter) Chinese firms should target has become too important to be ignored.
