摘要
Along with the growing trend toward world economic globalization, the competition of building market is increasingly fierce, and the demands of owners become more and more personalized and changeable. It becomes difficult for a single contractor to deal with this kind of competition situation, and it is necessary to cooperate among different construction enterprises. Under this background, applying the idea of Virtual Enterprise in engineering contract, this paper discusses the mode of virtual engineering contracting enterprise (VECE) from the contractor's perspective, and analyzes the advantages of this mode as well as the possible problems in its operation. After that, this paper divides overall lifecycle of VECE into four stages, and discusses relevant management issues involved in each stage across-the-board. This paper offers a systematic framework for the in-depth study on VECE, and also it provides a new way of thinking for the cooperation practice of construction enterprises.
